We are at the close of another year here at routedinterface.com. Let us take a moment to reflect on the blog and personal achievements from 2015;
Starting with personal, the biggest thing that happened was I relocated my family to sunny Atlanta, GA. I left my previous company for a Network Architect role with a large beverage company. For me, going from a media company like Viacom to a company like my new one was, at least, a real culture shock. Next, I finally finished my CCNP Data Center. This was an uphill battle in and of itself, but I am glad I saw it through. I was named a Cisco Champion for 2015. I can honestly say this came as a shock, but it is a good group of people to be a part of. Finally, I have been A LOT more active on Cisco’s learning network site, specifically in the CCNA and CCNP Data Center study groups.
Now, on to the blog; I can’t express enough gratitude to everyone who visits my site. Let us look at some statistics.
Here is a map of where everyone came from in 2015

Last year, this was my total visitors and views for the year,

It is not too shabby to have 4,419 visitors who viewed 7,714 items. This year, however,

WOW! Almost a 50% increase across the board! Year after year, since the blog started in 2011, I see anywhere from a 40 – 60% increase year over year, and I am truly grateful for everyone who has stopped by once or 50 times!
I want to do something different for next year, and I want to know what my blog readers would like to see content-wise and the format you want to see on routedinterface.com. As I try to do my best, I can not guarantee that I will blog about everything I receive, but I will do my best to start with the most popular and work my way through them. I will still blog about my normal stuff, and since I am teaching myself Python, I will also throw in some Python posts.
Again, I can not express my gratitude to my readers, and I look forward to 2016!
Thanks for your support, and Happy New Year to all!
Mike
